In contrast to traditional gridded estates, Mandala Village creates a network of housing ‘clusters’ that are united together as a whole unified by their own central shared space. The central space is symbolic of the Mandala representation that ‘we are all one’ connected by a ‘sacred circle’ that is never ending. There are no ‘straight’ roads but rather a meandering network of quiet tree lined roads, walking paths, bike trails and indigenous gardens that welcome visitors along an adventurous trail of residential dwellings.
